So, we should make a trade that will make the Kings worse, apparently you don’t get it.

The problem is people like you that think you build a team like you're playing NHL 2014. The Leafs losing Marner for a solid Wing and D-Man might make them worse on paper but get them further in the playoffs. Just look at the Bruins when they traded Thornton or Seguin trades. Don't be concerned with how the other team's doing with your guy but more on getting your team more likely to win.

Because as is the playoffs are a dead end for you guys as long as EDM is in the Pacific.

The Bruins missed the playoffs the first two years after the Thornton trade and 2 of the first 3 years after the Seguin trade, the only 4 years they missed the playoffs since 2001 until now.

There's just nothing on MTL worth trading Byfield for.

“The problem with people like you” (try being a little less condescending) is you get so put out if someone disagrees with your point. Sorry, no matter how you want to spin it, trading a C like Danault for a downgrade makes zero sense for any team, that includes the Kings.

Coolsies. They won a Cup too since then. Sharks? nope. Stars? not since 1999.

Nothing at all? Okay amigo, I guess 50pt Centres are too good for the likes of us.

Jeebus, did you even read or try to understand what I wrote? Danault even at his age is still a pretty darn good player though he may not be what you guys need. Especially to take down the Oilers. Don't be stuck in your ways. Change is oftentimes necessary for growth and progress. Well maybe you guys are happy just being in the playoffs and enjoy shaking McDavid's hand to end every season.

MTL has a fancy D that our coach would bench. No point going there.

Suzuki for Byfield isn't going to change the King's situation.

Kings could use a 3rd pair physical D, but that's not getting you Byfield.

Dach is interesting, but can't stay healthy.

King's not trading Byfield for a wing.

What is there that would entice the King's to move Byfield?

We also have a meddling PoHO that is also in charge of marketing & very unlikely to let Byfield go.

Suzuki is a 1C. Great two-way C who was 6th in points amongst all C in the NHL. Plays PP and PK.

That's not going to change the Kings position given Byfield is an average 2C?

Homerific take there son.

Suzuki hasn't done a whole lot since they let Danault walk.

There are centers that are difficult to play against & Suzuki isn't one of them. Besides swapping centers doesn't fix the King's needing to add a center.

Well then I hope you guys don't get the Oilers again next year.

Get it? What you got ain't working. You guys need a change. Don't follow the Leafs playbook. Anywho this Habs fan isn't interested in bringing back Danault.

Yes, please do me a favor--since us Kings fans just don't get it please tell some Edmonton fans that we've traded Danault for Newhook and he's now our secret weapon to get past them.

Let me know what you hear, I look forward to it!

Care to explain your definition of not doing a whole lot....?

Back to back 30 goal seasons and over a PPG this year, while being the primary focus of the opposing teams to shut down.

Suzuki was a key to Habs cup run a few years back and thanks to suze, the Habs rebuild accelerated this season.

Byfield has done fuxk all! An average 2C.

If Kings had Suzuki, you would have made it past the Oilers! ;)

You don't trade away 1C
We also feel bad, benefiting from such an favorable offer.
I can't bring myself to trade a 3C for a 1C, i care to much about you guys.
