no, just a healthy scratched when he missed games. i think he missed one for a visa issue too.

The news above by Canadienna that Hoffman" failed his physical" was incomplete and misleading. Hoffman is injured.

There are circumstances where an injury could allow voiding the contract but they are few, specific and kind of a nuclear option that teams will only use in extreme cases (career affecting health issues, recklessness, etc...) because you don't want to have that reputation as team of frivolously cutting ties with players when they run into the first trouble.
