Well, let’s watch him closely tonight and see how tough he is and how he’s so much better all around. Let’s see if he comes to the aid of Hutson if he gets flattened against the boards, etc.

He's definitely better at hockey than X. That doesn't mean X isn't good. I'd say he has the higher ceiling than Struble, it's just that struble has a very very balanced skillset and so he has a high floor. He's the safer choice and he's not the one who should be sitting for Xhekaj (savard).

Habs have been physical tonight and it's good to see. They should be like this all the time. I wish Jack was there, though.

You're right. It is not a good argument.... it's a fantastic one.

Matheson chews more minutes than David Savard for good reason. So I would not scratch him over Savard.

I didn't say to scratch Matheson, I want his minutes reduced. If MSL is so set on keeping Savard in, he should run 7D. Watching him trying to Gil his way through a PK is so painful.
