I’d try Kapanen as his C first. Sad we have to resort to a rookie who has basically no points in the NHL yet because he’s somehow seemingly an option to seriously consider over Newhook, because Newhook sucks that much.

Evans is there to cover Demidov defensively. Laine and Demidov will take care of the offensive duties. Newhook brings absolutely nothing and won't help Demidov in his NHL début. Evans is by far the better option.

Yeah he's playing Monday. He'll need a skate/practice with the team and being there firsthand before getting thrown in the fire. He'll be on the 2nd line even if we don't clinch by then.

Reality is that we don’t have a choice to play him because we’re extremely limited regarding offensive centers.

Still, lets not kid ourselves, all his point is him using his jet turbo speed to get in the net vicinity and the puck sometimes rolls in the net or gets coughed up on a teammate’s stick for a tap in.

Do people really think that us not being ready is solely one game? Where were you all in almost every single game in the 1st period? If we are never ready to start games...you won't win in playoffs. It's not just today.

Yup, it's amazing we have had the luck to come back so many times. In the playoffs in the last few years, first goal is really big... unless you are Colorado.

I don’t think they’d want to touch that much the line up but I wouldn’t be against something like

The Habs are not supposed to practice Sunday, so at best Demidov will have a morning skate Monday. And morning skate were all optional this season.
