Wouldn't do Reinbacher for Zegras straight up, and trading Beck/Roy for Luneau doesn't really do anything for us.

Yeah right, in what world is Montreal trading Reinbacher

Prob the same world where zegras was for sure being traded all predraft, according to some Montreal fans.


As for the trade itself I prefer zegras over Roy/beck.

And I think luneau is going to surprise people, and wouldn’t be shocked if he’s the better overall player over Reinbacher.

Value wise tough to say, league wide luneau value isn’t prob super high…. But Anaheim loves luneau and are very high on him and think he has top pair potential.

Rather let luneau and zegras hit their potentials

Ya our scouts/gm and coaches rave about Luneau… it’s unfortunate he had health issues this year and missed a big portion of the season and world juniors.

I think luneau is going to be pretty underrated league wide because of those health issues… but If he’s healthy he’s going to be a gem of a player. He was very impressive in his time with the big club

And to be fair Roy gets pretty underrated league wide also…. But I don’t see why either team would go for this move, I think both teams would prefer to see what their young players can become

Zegras doesn't fit what we need enough to pay the price to acquire him. If Dach crash and burn, then we can revisit.
