Desharnais
Emelin
Hudon
Blackhawks 2nd 2017

Habs get a 2nd LW for multiple years but take a risk with his injury history.

Canes don't make it to cap floor. With Desharnais and Emelin, they get 2 player who can give time to younger player to develop and they don't have long term contract so they can decide what they want to do with them.

Hudon is a nice prospect who's NHL ready imo.

Yikes. Take two of those pieces away and add something of value then swap the 2nd for a 1st and maybe you have a shot.

We on the Habs board know that absolutely no one wants Desharnais and Emelin. This guys trade proposal is silly and doesn't reflect the vast majority of our fan base.

Common, you talk about a guy who played 2 complete season only, have been in possitive for +/- once, have done 60pts once?

And you are talking about 3 mid to bottom line players and a 2nd for a 1LW. Get over yourself, if you want Skinner (and it sounds like you don't so why are you asking) offer something realistic. Crazy overvaluing fans.

While the OP is a bad proposal, you are not getting this for a guy who is one concussion away from needing to be spoon fed the rest of his life, and who has shown he is injury prone.

He's actually missed very few games over his career, including the concussions. All of his concussions were of a fairly mild kind compared to other players you'd take in a heart beat: ie Crosby. We'll keep him, thanks.

Skinner is done sure why not. I finally get in on this!

TBH I think we're getting a steal here. Montreal gives up a great prospect AND three other players for a guy who literally may not play a game for them. If he gets caught with his head down during training camp, that's it. Then we're sitting pretty with 4 players to help re-stock our prospect pool with younger guys.

I'd have been willing to add a pick to make this happen, but that wasn't proposed so no takesies backsies.

And for a while, he was. But then he changed his style of play to leave him less exposed to big hits, and suddenly, he stopped getting rocked as much. But since he already developed that reputation, reality becomes an afterthought

So a good player for spare parts. Yea that always works. :shakehead. You would have to offer something of use.

Done. Tired of this soon-to-be vegetable dragging our offense down.

(alright boys, add this one to the drinking thread)
