I actually kinda like the helmet stripe. Not as wild about the wings on the side but I do think it’d be cool to see more teams play with designs on their helmets

I like the design in close but not from camera level during the flow of play.

the wing design makes it waaaaaaaaay too busy. I think I'd like a red stripe on a white helmet more than a white on red, but that would be way too much primary white for this look.

I’m surprised after all that zone time that the red wings chance right after didn’t go in that’s usually how it goes for us. Credit Freddie played well so far

KK has made a number of good plays tonight...that line deserves one. From top to bottom, I think this is the best line combos Rod's blender has spit out in a while

KK stopped skating and missed the open net pass from Blake

I think he was waiting for the shot off the pad to come to him and not an extra dangle and pass. That play by Blake certainly took me by surprise.

That Aho whiff in our zone immediately afterwards was definitely looking like a goal against

Of course different game night sometimes yields a better or worse team but they have played superb under the new coach.

I saw them play Florida on the road a few weeks ago and they were great and got the W

They're playing teams desperately fighting for playoff spots, so wins aren't cheap--no matter how the game looks.

Still think the lines chemistry is wonky, but maybe if Rob lets them settle in, it will improve.

In the 1st Tripp explicitly noted the changes in PP units and then 30 seconds later he called Roslovic “Svechnikov” (who wasn’t on the ice), and now he just called that Roslovic-to-Robinson chance as “Rantanen-to-Aho.”
