Most painful win of the season. LA 8 EDM 2

Bunz is a good humored kid who knows his ability. Hopefully that remained intact after his debut ended.

It was painful to listen to that game on the radio. I can't imagine what it was like to watch it.
 
GREAT win. I remember when the Oilers were in their early heyday and they really poured it on heavy against us. Rollie the Goalie gave up 9 goals and every Oiler was laughing it up and really giving us the business. Different time different players yada yada yada. I think we should have gone for 10 but understand why we didn't. I do agree that anyone on the Oilers front office should be/have been fired. They are going to struggle until they do. Loads of talented young players on that team.

Oh well on to the next game. We need 3 more wins to have a shot at a playoff spot, 4 if we want to lock one up. We beat a team that we damned well had better beat tonight. Now go win the next 4 and get into the playoffs.
 
Complete, unmitigated, unqualified ownage.

Poor, hapless Edmonton came out in the 2nd looking like they had some life, and came inches from making it 3-2...
but then the sad reality of their defensive incompetence showed its face, and all hope was lost.
 
Finally a day when the good guys win and the bad guys lose.
Kings still can catch the Flames.
 
1-0 in a shootout, or 8-2, whatever. However they get the 2 points is fine. They should beat the Oilers, they did beat the Oilers. Keep it going.

Lol I was thinking the same thing. I don't feel sorry for no one. I do remember back in the heyday when Gretz and the gang put a beating on us many a times. Anyways just glad for the two points.

I get that, but I wouldn't be surprised to learn that none of those kids on the ice for Edmonton tonight were even born back then. Just an ugly, ugly thing to have to witness.
