Well, well, well.lol Blackwood. Devils argued to death that he was better than Carter Hart.
Congrats to Blackwood for revitalizing his career

I can admit when I'm wrong, he's turned out to be a good to great player, but I still think he's overrated as pundits are saying he deserves $9-10 Million a year?Oh man the Leafs hype for Mathew Knies last year, he was the next big power forward since prime Eric Lindros.
I wonder who he was drafted by.Joshua Brook lol. One fella on here ranked him the 13th best prospect in the NHL
It's got to be Connor Bedard and it's not even close. The generational tag was all over the place for him.
After 2 years in the NHL, he is no where close to being generational... I think it's pretty obvious by now.
Bedard is an undersized, one dimensional winger disguised as a center. He has a good shot, but is kind of slow for his diminutive size. His hockey sense is very questionable after witnessing some of the bonehead plays he does pretty often. It's like if he's still playing a junior game.
His faceoffs skills are terrible and is pretty abyssal defensively, which causes him to start trying to chase the puck after a whistle more often than not.
Hopefully for him, a coach will have the courage to put him at his place aka the wing. If he still plays at center, I don't see any success in the future for him.
They also are giving him no support essentially. Even Tavares had guys like Okposo, Bailey and a few others who basically came along a couple of years before him and gave him something to work with. Bedard is playing with next to nothing which is just destroying his development. Chicago needs to just load up on a few quality skilled vets as support for him and take some pressure off.I was getting roasted hard for those observations on him pre draft.
Dude needs coaching. He needs to have a ton of pressure taken off him so he can develop. He needs to work on his shiftiness and his play through the gaps.
The Bedard we see is a rushed development based on overhype. He could've ended up as the next Tavares (but as a winger) or as an elite winger but people believed him to be something he wasn't.
Hype destroyed his ceiling.
Dylan Holloway?

Dont think you guys know what overhyped means.Broberg is the only guy there who was overhyped.
The rest are guys that nobody except die-hard draft watchers had even heard of.
Disagree on Kakko. Got pretty mishandled as well. Lambert is a high risk. But yeah, Kemell seems to become another Teemu Pulkkinen even if he should have been a better skater and more skilled. Preds are pretty shit developing forwards. Also we have franchises like Jets... I mean, can a finn survive there after Selännes days? Heinola sure wasn't overhyped. The potential was really there and obvious.Aaron Kiviharju and Brad Lambert of Finns. Also Aatu Räty despite that i believe he will be a solid NHLer. So pretty much every Finn with a high expected pick lately if you throw in Kakko and Kemell..
Plus Topi Niemelä but of course because he is a Leafs prospect
Michkov. Heard incessantly from a few obnoxious loudmouths on here before the season started that he was generational and was going to put up anywhere from a point per game to 100+ points this year. Meanwhile, he couldn’t outscore Hutson and isn’t even a finalist for the Calder. Now, there’s an active thread where the same crazies from before are comparing him to McDavid and saying he has “multiple Art Ross potential”. Absolute insanity![]()
