Honestly razor thin margins here. Each guy has a solid case, and the list fluctuates year to year.

Excited as a Wild fan to see what Kaprizov can do with a real lineup around him. Give him Boldy & JEE for the last few years instead of Zuccarello & Hartman and I suspect he is at Kucherov levels statistically.

I'd lean toward Kaprizov. Not only is he able to be productive while playing with pretty much anyone...he's also shown that he's able to elevate the production of other players around him in a way that i'm not sure the others can match.

Pasta also has that ability to be incredibly productive while playing with less than elite linemates, but i don't think he has the same ability to drag those lesser linemates up with him in the same way.

Rantanen is kind of a neutral on that, where he's clearly had a symbiotic thing with some of the linemates he's had...but seemingly not all with his somewhat weird fit in Carolina.

Tkachuk has a gritty, pesty quality that could make a case that he impacts the game in more dimensions, but i don't know that his offensive impact is at quite the same level as Kaprizov.

Marner clearly brings up the rear amongst this group. He's weirdly like an "elite complementary winger", which is a bit of an oxymoron, but that's more or less the way i see him.

Kaprizov, Pastrnak and Rantanen. First 2 are elite with any type of linemates, Rantanen as well but we gotta see a full season, not just the playoffs to be confident about that IMO.

Tkachuk possibly may have equaled that group if the injuries from the previous 2 seasons weren't hampering him. And maybe if he had decided to work on his skating earlier in his career.

Marner is unequivocally a 80pt player without his linemates (not saying they're elevating his play), elite playmaker and producer but I don't think he comes close to reaching 100pts.

I'm not sure if any of the players listed would've came close the 2025 Pastrnak's season, respectfully.

The epitome of elite production
