I dont know why more teams dont do this. A lot of PP net front guy is about board work, winning puck battles. If youre a big defenseman or bottom 6 forward, throw him in front of the net and have him hack at loose pucks and win board battles and get puck back to the point or skilled players.

That famous Boston comeback against Toronto, wasnt it Chara that was parked in front of Reimer on that tying goal? Good luck seeing shit behind that monster.
