Good win will take it

Bratt finally taking that puck to the net and finally roofing it!

Daws 2 soft goals but we overcame them that’s what matters

Definitely a nice move. Glad to see he backed off, made Allen commit and then like you said, went upstairs.

Have to say, for a fairly decent size crowd, the place was about as dead as I've ever heard it with that many fans.

They only get goodwill if they win tomorrow

Win tomorrow + Flyers loss would bring me back off the ledge especially not knowing if the Flyers will have TK soon on their already anemic offense. The inverse happens and it's curtains

Yeah they played like ass for the first two periods and asserted themselves a little in the 3rd. Was depressing versus a team actively trying to be bad.

Too much trying to force passes, not enough taking open shots.

Timo looked great though!

Back from the game. Anyone sit next to a portly Habs fan with a Xhekaj jersey? Poor impulse control man baby...

There were many overserved individuals today. I saw a woman collapse at the Penn Station liquor store.

Habs were making some good outlets, chips and the Devils, when they could not intercept or lost the 50/50, it resulted in a scoring chance seemingly every time.

I wish they would do what the panthers do, which is, in a 50/50 situation, I am not trying to win the puck, I am trying to blow you up and I hope I get the puck.

Was at the game, my god it was frustrating lmao. The talent on this team should not be struggling this much. FIRE THE COACH

Well, that's the Rags for you. We should've demolished them if we didn't Larry, Curly and Moe coaching us
I feel like an ass for saying this since they have won ten in a row lmao but they haven’t look great doing it

Ruff and Green are like Abbott and Costello in the ''Who's on first?'' skit.

''Who's on first!''

''Who's on first?''

Would anyone give a single shit about Jack Eye if he didn't have such a cool looking last name? And if he weren't 6 foot 8 and 260 pounds?

First of all 2 points is 2 points, I'm glad they got it done even if it wasn't pretty! But second, I can't remember the last time I was this disappointed by the coaching in a win. B2B and this clown scratches 1/4 of the team, even if they beat tampa that definitely isn't the right thing to do. Powerplay sucks? Well let's just keep it as it is, but take the two arguably best pp players off from pp2. And the fact that fans were screaming to play Timo as a RW for months before this successful experiment proves how useless and clueless Ruff is. Also is he going to overwork Daws tomorrow or put Schmid, who is coming back from struggling against AHL players, in net against Kuch and the gang. Why wasn't Poulter given a look against MTL or after getting blown out by the caps and rags? Why even call him up? Hopefully this all works out and I look stupid, but if it doesn't that's yet another reason to fire Ruff.

I thought Daws wasn't so great today. Last two goals were weak. Didn't really have to do much, though he did have to do more than Allen through the first 2 periods, who may as well have been munching on a couple of those Bro-Ritos Chico was eating.

I also didn't think he was that bad against the Rangers. One goal he probably could have had, and even that one wasn't really bad.

I'm still not seeing the Devils winning the next game.....ESPECIALLY against Tampa and on the dreaded 2nd-game-of-a-back-to-back on a 1PM MATINEE STARTING TIME.

One could say they at least won't have to travel since they're at home but it doesn't matter.

Happy with this win but I have very low expectations for this game tomorrow.

Daws was fine. He stopped what he was supposed to.

The last one squeaked through, but he also held his own against a number of point blank opportunities and didn't leave loose change laying around like Vanecek does.

I thought the second goal was the really bad one. Maybe the worst he's allowed this year.

Third goal wasn't good, but it was from pretty in close.

With any luck Vitek will never play another game here, but I'm sure it'll be his turn to run the gauntlet when he gets back.

From my vantage point the second goal wasn't a bad one. The Devils left a weak side player wide open for the 10th time in the game and it's not easy to stop a guy like Suzuki when he's given all day to walk in and rip one.

Analytically Daws allowed 3 on approximately 3.1 expected, so it's hard to say he didn't do what he was supposed to.
