I always kinda got the impression that Ryan Miller could be a dour kind of guy, especially when the Sabres weren't doing well. My perspective might be limited though - it's just a vibe he gave off to me, and certainly nothing to diminish his skill.

Think Justin Bieber
Calling Justin Bieber emo is about as accurate as calling Taylor Swift a goth.

Jonathan Drouin wins this award. Who else ever INTENTIONALLY abandoned their team when they're making a Stanley cup finals push because of their feelings?

Mom, it’s not just a phase it’s a life style!

When I was a young boy my father took me to the city to see a marching band

This is one of those threads where I get why people say hockey is only popular with old men.

Another vote for Elias Pettersson (C).

Would also throw in Marner there with his temper tantrums, bad interviews and such

Didn’t he miss out because of substance abuse and being in the program? I seriously don’t know

I've heard he might still be injured.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of excuses when it comes to Pettersson.

His most ardent defenders are convinced it is still his patellar tendonitis that has seen his production dip to third line-levels but it is quite uncommon for that type of injury last more than a year. The vast majority of NBA players are back at it in a few months (roughly 1 in 3 players will have sonographic evidence of tendonitis at a given time) and that's a sport with significantly more knee impact. The fact that the GM and coach have all questioned it isn't a surprise and it's not the first time his play has fallen off a cliff with mysterious injuries.

What people on the Rangers board mind you, NOT the Canucks board have sited was his drop in top end speed. As someone who follow Alexis Lafreniere closely I know that COULD be mental. But usually that's physical isn't it?
