Most and Least Durable Players

I guess it means Marleau wasn't influenced by the Sharks captain when he came into the league, Owen Nolan.
Nolan hit and fought so he never got called out for his lazy at times play. He also burned his bridges on his way out.

Marleau doesn't hit or fight but he's hardly soft. He was a very good 2-way center in his prime.

Jarome Iginla was the most durable player I have watched. Played hard every night racking up Gordie Howe Hat Tricks and didn't take games off.

Yeah he is up there as least durable, never made it past 70 GP and odd cause he isn't overly physical.
A majority of those injuries come from his style of play as a shot blocking machine, I really wish he was more durable, gets the puck out quick and is the type of player to calm things down in his own zone. Salo was the same way.

Funny thing is this season if you’re including the playoffs he has played the most he’s ever played in a season with 86 games. Just took him 10 seasons to get there 8 if you’re not counting 2010-11 & 2011-12 (rookie years, Vigneault favoured guys like Alberts and Rome more)

EJ has to be up there for least durable. Dude is pretty much always hurt or playing hurt

Giroux has played 11 season's since his partial rookie year.

8 of those seasons he played every game
1 season he missed 1 game
1 season he missed 4 games
1 season he missed 5 games

So 10 games missed in his last 11 season's. Pretty impressive but he has played thru injuries during the season.
