It's been 8 years for the Leafs constantly looking for a partner for Rielly and they have yet been able to find that player to maximize Morgan's abilities do maybe it's easier to replace him as opposed to find someone for him.

Answer: They don't.

He is worth more to Toronto than any other club in the NHL.

He IS toronto's best defenceman and longest tenured leaf. He doesn't put up crazy numbers, and sometimes makes mistakes defensively, but they can not replace him.

Leafs aren't considering moving him unless its for a clear upgrade.
