Both players are talented but dont play at the level of their talent. Probably time has come for them to change environment.

Torts with Zegras?
Not a fan of Zegras but he is 2 times the player Frost is right now
I’m not a fanHe isn't probably even as good as Frost right now, and for 2.7 times bigger money...

Is Frost even a 4C?The last 13 months, which is a pretty good indication of ‘Now’, certainly puts your assertion into question.
Statistically his 0.57PPG in last 2 seasons puts him around 150th in NHL among forwards which would mean lower level 2nd liner. Is Frost even a 4C?
I don't see what possible reason the Ducks would have to do this. They've already said Zegras is likely in their long term plans and Frost is older with less of a ceiling and pretty similar playstyles. Frost has been in Torts doghouse plenty and doesn't have the same kind of value as Zegras does.
@Moose Head @Kshahdoo bad wording on my part, sue me.
He has value because he's 23 for another 5 months and was injured with a pretty big injury last year, 10 games is an extremely low sample size and after coming back from injury last year he still looked pretty good despite a lack of practice.I'd say 3 points in 10 games (or 15 in 31 last season) for $5.85M AAV doesn't make his value great. Frost at the very least is capable to do this for $2.1M AAV. But of course Zegras is still remembered for what he did in his first two NHL seasons, that's why the offer. Otherwise it would look stupid for Flyers to do something like this.
Where is this coming from? Him getting upset on the ice?Zegras is a temporarily embarrassed 1st liner with a bad attitude. Frost is poor man's "middle-6 tweener".
Not sure why the Ducks would sell low on Zegras. What is the upside?

It’s the coach. Zegras is a noticeably better player at center. It showed last night.I'd say 3 points in 10 games (or 15 in 31 last season) for $5.85M AAV doesn't make his value great. How about Farabee? Both players are talented but dont play at the level of their talent. Probably time has come for them to change environment.
