Confirmed with Link: Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee traded to Calgary for Andrei Kuzmenko, Jakob Pelletier, 2025 2nd, 2028 7th

Farabee has been absolutely brutal fellas. 9 games, 1 goal, he has given the puck away everytime it landed on his shaft today.

Frost a bit better but it looks like they are not a good fit at all.

Especially Farabee- a complete joke.

They are talented players but seems like they would need a very specific types of linemates; maybe they need to be more in secondary roles in their lines. Not sure.

Was sad to see Frost go initially but Farabee has absolutely no tool box and doesn’t PK or do anything other than score which he doesn’t do much of; was so glad when I saw he was out of here.

Rantanen is even worse. He is nothing without MacKinnon, he doesn't take the body and can't even contribute on defense and he's gonna cost someone 100 million of dollars.

Will be funny if Kuzmenko manages to outproduce both of them.

I still don't think this was a good trade and the goal probably simply was to get a Russian for Michkov. But Farabee and Frost are proving to be not a big loss.

Now in 18 games for the Frost/Farabee duo, they have a total of 4 points combine....Reading Calgary puck tonight, some Flame fans are getting concerned in particular about Farabee....to be fair, they are better then this....but perhaps they were not as good as we thought.....Regardless I still believe we could have gotten a lot more then what we did.....

I'd wait until next season to see how Frost and Farabee are playing. The rest of this year is a wright-off for them, the same way I was willing to give Drysdale a mulligan on his poor play until all last season and started judging him based on his play this season.

Hopefully mate, but I see nothing so far. Ah actually I do- a black hole called Farabee and he had only 09:51 of TOI yesterday...

Fixed. ;)

Briere and Torts got trashed in this thread...I think some people need to come out an admit they may be wrong on this whole trade.

I agree.

I mean, I'm not sure if using Torts as a philosophical guide on talent is the right approach, but he's definitely more right than wrong.

The players he's clashed with rarely go on to be sudden impact players afterwards.

Personally, I'm less interested in knowing how Frostabee do in the immediate aftermath of getting out of Philly; I'd be more interested to see how they acclimate next year, after a full off-season under someone else's tutelage (and medical care, in Farabee's case.) I still have high hopes particularly for Frost, but players who need to unlearn bad habits, like over-cautious play, aren't likely to do that overnight.

Are we supposed to draw conclusions from small sample sizes? Cates just broke an 11 game pointless streak, guess we should have dumped him too while that was happening.
Don't worry, he'll be coveted by this organization like Laughton was.

Gotta hold onto those bottom-6 forwards
