He still somehow scored 39 goals in 81 games for Vancouver in his rookie season and then 14 goals in 29 games for Calgary in the previous one. Now look at Farabee.

I don't understand fans logic sometimes. First they whine the team turns Michkov into a grinder, and then they whine the player the team gets isn't grinding enough. Sometimes you just need skill and IQ over skating fast and hit everything. Especially given Farabee wasn't great in those things either.
 
Pelletier is just kind of another unathletic guy. He’s almost 24 and hasn’t stuck. There’s no real upside — nothing about the timeline makes sense. But 2nd rounder in best class ever! I can’t wait until they pretend this is a rebuilding move. Noah Cates is a young prospect too.

Worst center depth in the league for years to come, mark my words.

I am going to rip my hair out if I read/hear anything more along the lines of "The Flyers already have a ton of picks in the pipeline, do they really need to keep them all/trade for more?"

I fear this trade sets up an excuse to either buy ("We have the space and the assets, we need to field a team") or an excuse to not sell ("We've already shipped a few guys out, don't want to make things too volatile for the kids, we don't need any more picks")

This is God awful. I honestly forgot there even was a 7th round in the draft :laugh:

Pro tip for those wondering about rock bottom....you can't hit rock bottom when you're in a bottomless pit.
