I like what Barron brings to the bottom 6, he gives you I call an honest shift each and every time. I think there is room for him to get even better in the future.
Agree. I’ve been a big fan of him right from day one.Barron has really impressed me, especially considering how effective he's been playing C. I hope he's following a similar trajectory as Mason Marchmont, another big fast F that didn't really make his mark in the NHL until about age 26, which is similar to Barron's career stage this season.
If Barron can develop into a strong C he's going to be a valuable cog going forward.
His game seems more suited for C, a lot of similarities to how Lowry plays. Makes things a little more uniform in the bottom six.Agree with the thread that Barron really seems to have found a new gear centring a terrific new line. He always had speed, energy and underrated hands and playmaking — great to see him banking some well-earned points, and hard to see a role for Apples going forward with he and Kupari as options, Tanev as a possibility and Al wanting to stick around.
