Definitely a goalie. Every talks about resigning Quick and all which I agree with but a simple injury could sideline him for some time.

Also, probably goalie but it seems like those can be had in free agency vs using a high draft pick.

While the draft is a very, very long ways away; does anyone know if we have any first round goaltenders coming up in this draft at all?

If not I can definitely see a overpayment package from Rob Blake to address the goaltending need.

Blake made a huge mistake not trading for a LHD this summer.

Quick can hold the fort for a year or 2 until A: Cal gets his head out of his ass or B: we trade for a goalie.

The LD situation is urgent. Was urgent last year, was urgent in the summer is urgent now and will be urgent in the future.

There is no solution for a righty-righty combo. Needs to be corrected because the ripple affect of playing kids on their off side is obvious.
