Here is a photo I came across recently.
On Oct. 24, 1935 Blackhawks' center Tom Cook is posed in action as he gets trim for the NHL hockey season. Tom Cook (not one of the HHOF Bill & Bun Cook brothers) joined Chicago in 1930 and led the NHL team in scoring in his rookie year. The following three seasons he was 2nd in team scoring, twice to Johnny Gottselig and once to Paul Thompson and then in 1935 he trailed those two and HHOFer Howie Morenz in team scoring. In his sophomore year he scored a goal and a team-tying lead in playoff assists with 3 in their 1931 Stanley Cup Finals run. He also scored in the Blackhawks first ever Stanley Cup championship postseason in 1934, the year prior to the above photo.
