Thanks for the detailed recaps, @ICdave -- next best thing to being at the game, and often better than streaming them (over here at least).

Great to see Lucius getting a string of games and picking up points in most, and Chibby continuing to develop as a consistent playmaker and scorer.

Points in every game in 2025 -- who'd a thunk it a few weeks ago?

Gallant can really fight, good showing by Empey

That is the worst fight call by a broadcaster in the history of hockey fights.

Not getting killed vs Gallant is a good result. Nice use of the Domi Laraque spin cycle kept Gallant a little off balance.

Was doing colour both games so not easy to get my usual level of clipping done. Then again nothing happened past two games that really merited clipping.

This team's lack of ability to score (Captain Obvious) is killing them. They just had no flow. Poor passing. No attention to detail.

And they lost Jets prospect Nikita Chibrikov to a lower-body injury on a really odd play and he did not return to the game. There wasn't an update after from assistant coach Morgan Klimchuk.

Any update on Salomonsson? He was nominated to the All Star game, which is in two weeks. Was supposed to be back after Christmas according to Mark Morrison. Setback? I believe his was a shoulder injury so probably want to be on the safe side there.

It must be 2 different environments for players going between the Jets and the Moose this year.

Two updates for Jets prospects on Moose:

Here is the link to the practice report which includes lines & D pairs.

Media:

Without Chibrikov, and Lambert and Lucius now split up, and at C, I'd say the best prospective winger down on the farm is Parker Ford.

If Lowry is banged up I wonder about calling up Mason Shaw as teams may get more aggressive against the Jets without their leader. Definitely that Montreal, Boston, Washington road trip probably has some hard hits coming and after whistle specials on the docket.

I'm pretty sure a few days ago it had been stated he would be back in around 2 weeks, so maybe late January/early February.

Edit: Saw Dave's post. Looks like it might be sooner for Salomonsson.
