I really enjoyed the episode.
Everything about his acting style while portraying steven grant reminded me of Ash (Bruce Campbell) in the evil dead. (and that wasnt a bad thing)
I agree with this. Also the facial expressions of confusion, fear and basic mannerismsYour reaction was probably guided by the interference with the answering reflection stuff.

With Isaac playing a military mercenary with mental struggles and Hawke playing a self-abusing religious zealot I couldn't help but think of the recent movies of Paul Schrader too. Were there a few wide angled close-ups on that confused face too? I'd have to look at it again, but maybe they were consciously welcoming Raimi to the MCU.
I think I can speak for everyone who lives in the UK --we all have one question
HOW THE FRAK DOES HE AFFORD SUCH A LARGE FLAT WORKING AT A GIFT SHOP!?
Ya episode 2 sort of explains it but of course there could be another reason than the one given.I think I can speak for everyone who lives in the UK --we all have one question

I liked that we see and learn more about Khonshu and the Ennead by extension which we have seen in Black Panther as the Wakandan's also worship a god from Heliopolis, which fits in with the recent multiverse themes as they come from a small pocket dimension. They are supposedly going to show up in Thor Love and Thunder which makes sense given Gorr the God butcher is in it.
There's supposedly no tie ins to other existing Marvel properties in this show. We’re seeing some tie ins to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever as well I would imagine.
Should be interesting to see how their Egyptian gods tie into the MCU. We’ve seen though Thor and the Eternals that gods perceived my man, are really just from other worlds.
Given the legend of the black panther stemmed from the Vibranium meteor formed Wakanda, they are probably following a similar path.
Also I do wonder if we will have another Kang teaser in this show with Rama Tut and perhaps some tie ins with these Egyptian gods.
So far the plot line in Moon Knight seems too simple. I expect some curveballs thrown in.
Well that's not exactly right, there is already a tie in to Wakanda and the gods they worship as they are from the same place etc. Unless they are suddenly changing things in the MCU. They are keeping it close to their vests if he will have another season or move into other properties like movies. Also from what I have read, the reviewers have said the first 4 episodes they have seen do not have any direct ties to the MCU to that point. The last 2 are unknown. There's supposedly no tie ins to other existing Marvel properties in this show.
The flat is supposedly Steven's mom's but it doesn't look like one a mother own. Plus we never see the mom and we know Marc has money. It's likely that Marc is the main personality and Steven is the new one.Ya episode 2 sort of explains it but of course there could be another reason than the one given.

That's how it is in the comics. He is really Marvel's Batman in the comics as he is also a billionaire who owns Spector Corp. The flat is supposedly Steven's mom's but it doesn't look like one a mother own.
