Habs are still brutal at taking penalties. Right where we left off last year. Haven't missed a beat. If anything its worse than last year.

I'd like to see Montreal with a real number C
Desharnais is a plug in who had a good year last year.....He's no number one C!

I'd Try Eller down the middle with Cole and Pacioretty when he's back!
Trade Desharnais while he still has some value

The thing about DD is that if he isn't scoring he's useless. He's not scoring and getting way too much ice time for a useless player.

I doubt we'll get much of anything for him. Probably just ride it out until he snaps out of it and if not put him back to the ahl. I'm still not convinced he's an nhl player.

He played with some vision and hustle last year. haven't seen much of either this year.

Btw, can you guys relax a little bit. We'll still be 4-2 even if we lose. Don't expect to go 47-1 this season.

I would think it's the opposite. Cole is the vet. He needs to show DD and Eller and whoever else the way. His line sucking is more on him than anyone else.

The other thing is, Desharnais and Eller show more hustle. Eller is crashing today but seems to have no idea what his role is, and Desharnais when he's not playmaking is pushed around no matter how quickly he gets back up. Both are at least skating harder than Cole.

how much more time can you realistically give DD?
If he's not producing, he's completely useless as you cant play him on the 3rd or fourth

Cole might have a bit more leeway as he's a proven vet, but lets be honest, DD doesnt have the same benefit of the doubt

Before giving up on DD you have to demote him on a lower line and play him with another RW than Cole who's playing as bad if not worse than him.

im not trying to be a troll but the refs have been equally as bad this game. In the 1st there were a ton of weak calls on the SENS the difference right now has been the White unsportsmanlike penalty, which was a foolish penalty.

HOWEVER White will do more good than bad when looking at the whole season so it'll all even out in the wash. Similiar to what happens with Neil.

Anyways again, not trying to be a troll...

He's still got the vision. He just doesn't have the space around him anymore. We'll see if DD can adjust to tough minutes, but if not, he's likely not less than what he was last year. A soft minutes, offensive specialist with PP time.

Therrien's ****ing this up by playing Eller on the wing. he's not a winger. With the decision to keep chucky, bergevin is going to have to trade eller or desharnais for a winger

Desharnais is useless......I was saying to trade since last year!
Too small and not fast enough!

Eller would be better suited to play C between Cole and Pacioretty

On the other end.....Latendresse looks so much slower and out of sync. A guy that was so lights out in Minny not too long ago.

Ok... We've been saying the same thing.

PS Volchenkov isn't on your team anymore.

In a back-to-back game, on the road, against a really hot team atm...

Not that I'm looking for excuses! Just saying, no shame in losing this game.

he's sucked but he basically has a built in excuse until pacioretty is healthy
