I love Gionta when he's on the 3rd line. He's a different and better player when he's not a top 6.

This is an unpopular opinion here but if Gionta is willing to take significantly less money, he should come back. He's extremely versatile as long as he's not expected to drive offense.

Agree completely. Gionta has his limitations but has been very solid all season.

All it does is making PK nervous about doing another mistake.

#1 coaching right there.

He didn't make a mistake or mistakes, he was being lazy and nonchalant on the plays. Two different things.

i'd be okay with this if we didn't have Vanek, Subban and Markov waiting in line in front of Gionta
