I can understand them trading 1 of their 2 goalies when they had a goalie controversy, regardless of which one. Both of them inside of one year? Uh... who was drunk in the front office?

But Eddie Lack was their goalie of the future!!! Wait a second....

I had to ref starting at 6:30 this morning (8:30 a.m. Quebec time) so as far as I'm concerned, hockey is over for the day. I'm just watching a bunch of millionaires screw around whilst wearing ice skates, right? Is this hockey?

I'm in the same time zone as you, I think. Mountain. We're the best people on the planet. Fresh air. And vodka.

I haven't watched him play much but his numbers are great. They've always been great. Yet his name never comes up in the 'best of goalies' discussions.

Cause of where he plays. Lets be honest, the Devils kinda fly under the radar these days.

I'm half and half. I'm Mountain during North American standard time. When most of the rest of the continent changes their clocks an hour forward for daylight savings, Arizona doesn't, so I shift into Pacific time even though my clock doesn't actually move.

Basically Arizona is like "DST? lol **** that" and for a good reason, but why is off topic. This is hockey.

Weird period. Habs started getting in the groove but they may have a challenge solving their goalie

1. He plays on the Devils.
2. His team has sucked for the past 3 years. Not many wins on his resume.

Devils gonna Devil.

That's just a stereotype though, that's several years old. I'm not sure how they're trying to build their team now, but Schneider is a goalie to build net-outwards around so if that's their team identity for several years it wouldn't surprise me.

How did Vancouver go from having Luongo, Schneider, Lack to none of them?

And end up with Miller.

Schneider > Luongo
Luongo > Miller

They should have keep Schneider, Trade Lack and Luongo.

Markstrom #2 , they would be wayyyyyyyy better right now.

15 shots total during the 1st period, 15! That's like the most exciting period we had in NJ in a decade. :sarcasm:

Off topic: it's good to see you guys again. I've missed being here. I may be obsessed with hockey as a sport in general but the NHL has been hard for me to watch this year. I'm not going to pretend like I didn't think of HF during a period of not posting for a while.

You'll still get to a million posts this year.
