Score effects are such a funny thing.

We had basically zero zone time up until they get the go ahead goal and now we're controlling some of the play again.

Please, dont let Matheson play with the 1st line, he is killing any chance they got with his stupidity!
They finally get possesion in the zone and he f***s up an easy pass!

Should’ve know they weren’t going to maintain their winning percentage from January. They’ve really come back down to earth. I’m back in the sell camp. After this trip, they’ll be way out of the race. I think Dahlin is back, so even Buffalo will probably catch them.

You can see that they tried to do more dump and chase after Minnesota neutered their offense. They really suck at it

LOL. I'm rewtaching Dach on Killorn's goal. Putrid. Guy doesn't give a ****.
Why is this dude even in our roster? He's a waiver material.

With a strong experienced GM. When you pair then with a GM who can't impose his view over the coach what happens is those kind of coaches become like assistant GM and you really don't want that. At some point toward the end of his career Martin was like half a GM and when i look at the Frost/Farabee trade it's how it feels with Tort too. From a GM perspective the trade makes 0 sense.
Yes, Martin was forcing Gaineys hand by not playing certain guys, and making 4th liners first line players, like Darche.

Remember when Bergevin got PAP, Briere and Vanek ? Therrien decided he didn't like these additions and so didn't utilize them. I get that Vanek was a bit lost in the post season but when your team isn't scoring do you hope a prolific scorer regains his touch by playing his way out of it, or do you put him on the 4th line with, 4th line talent ?

So yes, you need a GM who will call remind the coach who calls the shots.
