All the garbage - Ottawa, Detroit, Islanders are playing way over their heads, As someone said Habs need to be 3-0 or 0-3 on this trip.

Slow & steady, man. If we can play good hockey consistently – not necessarily red-hot hockey – Habs can creep back into a playoff spot as other teams above of us fade.
Supposedly.............the number pundits, have the Habs with the 3rd easiest schedule finishing up the season.....as compared to the other teams they are fighting for a spot with.
2 weeks can make a huge differentce.
This 4 game slide has had them playing brutal, and it seems on fumes.
I think they can crawl back in this thing soon, and then get the 10-12 days off.
The break will help the habs, and hurt a team like the Sens who are hot right now.
I still think we play meaningful hockey in March/April.........yes I am a glass half full guy.

I think Hughes will need to make a couple of depth moves if the goal is to push for a playoff spot. The loss of Guhle rearranges the D pairings and the loss of Heineman has hurt depth scoring. We are going to need some help to get there.

I presume Heineman should be back after the break but another forward with some finish to make up a 3rd line with Heineman and Evans is needed and of course a d to make up for the loss of Guhle

Now that NFL is pretty much over, we will see a lot of Sunday games.

After their annual Super Bowl Sunday game they only play on two more Sundays. They play on every Saturday there is NHL games going forward except one.

Ivan "Dove" Demidov

Sorry I had to post my masterpiece here too. I wish our Dove was with us already in this game. We would need his smooth movements already.

Watching the full game today as its conveniently early! Lets slaughter those Ducks!!

I don't get the indifference. The next few games are important statements about how this roster recovers from a bad week.

Guhle may be out awhile, but Heineman will be back soon. If the Habs play like they have through most of the season, they'll be back hovering around a wildcard spot.

Hard to get excited about a team who climbed their way to finally reach a wild card spot and had their destiny in their own hands only to piss it away. If the players don't bother to show up, why should we? That said, I'm a sucker for this franchise and will still be here till the disappointing end.

The players did not mail it in those games though..............
In a 2.5 week period they traveled all time zones, the distance was over 24 thousand km's
Perspective.........the Sens will not travel 50K in km's for the entire season...........
Disappointed recently yes............but to say they don't care is not right man.....
