Op is being greedy. Lek needs a raise next year which will wipe out most of the cap gains.

I don't think Lehkonen gets a substantial raise in this flat cap. He plays a good forecheck and skates well with lots of energy but he's got very little leverage in arbitration. Maybe he goes from $2.3M to $2.5M

Basically a good bottom 6F and paid close to what he is worth right now today
