We can survive to one game where we get bullied or hit like crazy. But in a best of 7? Comon, we're gonna get killed.

MB, time to change that mentality of smurfs.
Hope you realize that this is considered a transitional year by the management team. Bergevin will not build you a contender in 4 months.

if we all thought leaf fans were delusional and insufferable before. now that their idiot coach dresses two and a half goons and Herman Munster on D, it's full on ****ing hell. they suddenly sound exactly like bruins fans. even though we have way more guys who are tough and can actually play hockey. I'd still bring in a goon for Boston and toronto - and I'd bring up Tinordi ASAP and move kaberle and weber to a condominium in hamilton

Very few 6'6 rookie D can adapt to the NHL right away. We should have grabbed McGrattan who would have fought any Leaf on his first shift.

Our smurfs can't get hit that way and come out without getting worn out and injuries. :help::help::help:

It may not have been a 5 minute major but very dangerous hit that far from the boards. Dumb play by Brown but I don't expect anything more for Toronto's crew of thugs.

The big piss off about the PP looking bad is that they won't score and encourage the idiots that there is no price to pay for stupidity. I'd love to see them score 3 to start the 2nd.

Clearly no one understands that MT asked them to just let them play their game ? Last time we tried to play their game and we were put to shame... Never again please.

Last time the team lost their **** after a horrible 1st and tried to act tough, and it only made things worse. This is classic Carlye hockey, you don't want to be pushovers but you don't want to play their game either. The Habs outplayed them hard in the 1st, even the homers on TSN admitted Carlye yelled at his team for how badly they were outplayed.

It's not about how bad they are playing. It's about how reckless they are playing. They can hurt a lot of people on our team, the way they are playing.

It's not clean.

That, it's just plain freaking dangerous. I know we are the better team to put the puck in the net in a clean physical/talent contest.
