It looks like we're giving away Kapanen and a 2nd for nothing. Granlund isn't coming back, so that's a no.

But Granlund doesn't look like a style of player that is very sought after comes the TD...

Yet 2 of the 3 times he was traded it was around the deadline. Funny that.

Don't want to trade him anyways unless a team is silly enough to offer a 1st. I think he re-signs in San Jose.

Granlund is having a great year, but he’s not a longterm solution for the Habs at 2c, so I don’t see them given up assets to try for the playoffs this year.

They want longterm pieces that will be a part of the core, Granlund is not that. Their goal is to compete for the cup in the years to come, not make the playoffs this year.
