Dinosaur hockey alive and well in Montreal.

You don't think this is a bad thing Lou?

I think it's absolutely the worst news.

I think he's the right coach for them and I think he'll take them to the next level.

He'll get every once out of that team.

I might be sick actually.

I feel like I'm playing Super Generic Action Video Game 2 and the "plot twist" just happened.

The rivalry goes on...

If I'm a Montreal center I am studying up on back pressure

please take Jimmy Hayes, Nash, and Beleskey with you Clode. MTL needs more 0-way forwards for your system

Claude has Price and Weber...seems like his system will work perfectly. Neely and Sweeney really did the Habs a favor and made them much better.

Just heard this on TEAM1040.

Wow, Julien, the worst of luck to you you b****** c*********.

Seriously? The man was FIRED! Used as a scapegoat.

While I don't like where he ended up, he does have the right to get another job elsewhere. Shame on the Bruins for allowing this to happen.

Oh man... Just doesn't feel right for a coach to man the bench of these two franchises in the same season. Not shocking, but definitely surprised by the timing.

Well for everyone who has believed that Claude can't coach in the "new" speedy NHL, we'll see if this is true or not with a Habs team that is built around pace.

**** **** ****ity **** **** ****.

****.

I called this ages ago, and it was the main reason I didn't want to fire Claude. For the last year or two, the best thing about having Claude (even if he wasn't working out particularly well for OUR team) was that he at least wasn't available to wreak havoc on us from the outside. He's a good coach, and just like players can take advantage of a new opportunity under a new coach, Julien can take advantage of this new opportunity with a new team.

Habs fans and Habs media hate Therrien, and I can only assume that some of it is for a rational reason. They're going to be good. There's one thing the Habs and the Bruins have in common: superstar goaltending. That's a great place to start building a team.

Oh, did I mention? ****.
