This is a joke right? Much better for Dallas to let Nuke walk if it comes to that. At least then they retain his rights if he ever wants to come back.

Dallas says no easily.
Reway is boom or bust, Hudon is good but Dallas doesn't need him, DD is just well.. Overused & tiny, Condon is a cheap backup but not an upgrade on Niemi/Lehtonen & a 4th doesn't do anything.
As a poster said above, they're better off allowing Nuke to sign in the KHL, they'll still have his rights than accept this.

As a big fan of Beaulieu, I would really consider this deal. But idk... Both players seem to be busting while Bealieu showed he can control the play and produce fairly despite the team he was on. He is already a top 4 Dman and his potential is alot higher than that. That being said, a chance on 2 high rewards players might be something worth looking at.
But looking at habs needs and weaknesses, I dont see them doing this. Without Bealieu, they would be extremely thin on the left side. And I want to see a full year of Bealieu with Weber on the top Pairing and hopefully top PP unit (hopefully he proves he can quarter back a PP).
tl;dr I would consider this next season

Link's broken....what's got him sidelined?
Serious infection that had him moved to the ICU of a different hospital this week. He's been hospitalized for about a week now and there may be an issue with his heart. It all sounds pretty serious. I looked it up because of this thread and like the Habs fans said, he is definitely not getting traded while in a situation like this. Hopefully it won't be a long-term issue and he will be fully recovered soon. Then we can start talking about the possibility of him moving.

Yup you are missing the fact if fans of other teams don't agree to accept Montreal offer said player is a bust . No one wants him anyways .
Next it will be followed by 3 years of posting asking for the same player and ripping the other fan base for not accepting

But this can be said of most fan basis . Fans may look at the stats of other teams and read the odd newspaper article . Or search a few things before posting a proposal . But in general fans can not follow every team and truly know their prospect .
Fans are always higher on their own players and prospect mostly because they do not know the other teams players as well .

Don't know if Oleksiak can pull it off and finally make it to the nhl.
The thing is i think Habs management sees Sergachev and Beaulieu has our future top 4 LHD. If Beaulieu goes, what happens then?? We will need to sign on thru UFA.
This point aside, i could see a deal of Oleksiak + Nuke for Beaulieu and Andrighetto being fair.
Yeah it would definitely be a tough call and you're right, our top pairing would be losing Beau. I'm not really convinced that Beaulieu is a bonafide top pairing dman tbh, but our d prospects are better than our forwards and we could find a stop-gap to fill that top role as efficiently as Beaulieu.
