Another antichambre stab. Good job lads. Why do you guys even bother watching it only to whine about it...... that's so Pejorative Slured.
:shakehead:shakehead:shakehead

People love their Habs. They will watch morons talk about them because they want to hear about their team. If there were better shows available, l'AC would disappear.

That was my 1st gut reaction but.. when we get to the playoffs, it'll make more sense..

he wasnt even good enought for the suck ass Rangers and now he will be good for us. Makes no sense... But hey, low risk move, we can always end him to the AHL if he sucks like i expect him to.

Look at the Rangers board.

No one is happy and everyone is confused why he's on waivers.

As others have said, they don't understand the move in NYR.
But even if he did actually suck, it wouldn't be the first time that a player struggles somewhere, gets moved, and starts playing well.

It actually makes me really happy with the pick up. Our PK and face off stats can't get worse. Almost every comment on the board is from people who thought he was a solid 4th liner, faceoff specialist and reliable PK minute eater.

What's not to like about that? RH to boot. Even if it's a minor pickup, it's really well targeted to Montreal's needs. Glad he lasted long enough on the Wiaver wire for our claim to be good.

I usually catch the first minute and a half after the game is over, and I get enough ammo from those 90 seconds to last me a day or two.

It reminds me of my drunken uncles around Christmas time so much, I can't help but laugh.

I think they are doing a fantastic job, at bringing the comic relief. Kudos Anti-Chambre!

About Halpern, I like it. He'll help our mediocre faceoff situation, with will automatically help our penalty kill. And he was free. No risk/medium reward. I like it. Plus we all know Jeff, and know that he'll give an honest effort.

Agreed, we desperately needed a faceoff specialist and some PK help, plus worst case scenario he's a UFA at the end of the season.

I was a bit worried with the pickup because I thought he was like 40.. but 36 is decent.

HF's logic at his best again!

If one of our player gets picked by another team: "Why is he good enough for the team that picked him but not good enough for us? Stupide move, we let a good player go for nothing again !!!111!1"

If we pick someone from another team: "Why is this guy not good enough for the team that waived him but good enough for us? Stupid management getting a player that the other team doesn't want anymore and is therefore useless !!!111!1"

Like Halpern but I hope White doesn't lose out here.

White has not been playing good, I like him as a Player, Don't get me wrong, he brings what we need, But I just don't think he is good enough yet, More seasoning is needed.

I do think White is a good player though. Tough and gritty and grinds!

White might be better on the wings anyway.

He's injured currently though.

White hasn't been good since he was scratched for costing the team games. He's too tentative now. We need crazy White back.

Agree, grit and grind on the bottom six is very good when our top six is somewhat smurfy. White is young and should improve Halpern is old not going to get any better. Also remember when we had careful skill players like Dackel Juneau and assorted defencemen on our bottom six, we sucked

I think White has earned a spot in the lineup. I don't mind him rotating in and out either but he should at least play half the games. I like the idea of grooming a home grown energy guy. He's a passionate player and if we treat him well he's going to play hard for us every night.
I'd like an upgrade on Moen or Armstrong though because your 4th line needs a little bit of edge at the very least. I'd say Moen's days here are numbered. Moen and Weber should bring back a really nice 4th line guy.
