Hell yeah ! Montoya makes a routine 2v1 save, guys on the bench get up to applaud him, and it's 1-1. Good job team !

Thought the habs played way better then WPG that period. They got lucky on the PP (toe drag wasn't meant to be a pass) and Benn made a bad play on the pinch for 2 on 1 but Weber played it great.

Outside of that habs were buzzing all period. If they can stay out of the box they got a good chance in this game. Next goal is huge.

Agreed.

The Habs seem to be more aggressive when Price isn't in the net, which I wish they would do when Price is playing as well.

What's wrong with calling out Price ? He's signed his big deal and checked out. Absolutely terrible attitude.

He went back to when he was hurt in 2016 and he started skating and that he was putting on a show then because he knew cameras were on. They showed one of his drills where Price had to skate on one skate and he was calling him a figure skater. Those weren't constructive criticisms. Those were comments delivered with more anger and malice than anything else.

He starts doing that on a regular occasion I will give him credit. Doing it once after 14 games of questionable play.. well

5 points in his last 6 games. Has been winning faceoffs, been doing a lot of good things. I have no problem shitting on anyone on this team but Shaw has taken a lot of flack and he's producing. He deserves some kudos in my opinion.

Or maybe he's just struggling

Struggling ? I don't know if sub .880 save % after over 10 games can just be called "struggling". You think it's possible for a player of Price's talent to "struggle" as much as this ? Name me another starter in the same category of talent who has ever had a start as shitty as this.

It's been great to see Shaw come alive. Let's not forget the guy started the camp with a concussion, and he was blindsided earlier in the season. Hopefully he's symptoms free and can play like this for a while.

I wonder when your goaltender is shaky if that affects how the team plays? For example, Weber had 6 of the team's 12 shot blocks last game, like he's really trying to help out Price.

Roy was pretty awful to start '95 and found a ticket out of town shortly after. And folks actually wanted him traded at the deadline in '93.

Just don't take penalties. WPG PP is killer lately and habs PK is not very good.
