I've liked the Martinsen/McCarron combination on the fourth. I find they've played well together on the forecheck, not just making it hard on the opposing D, but create some chances. Not only do their sizes cause headaches for opponents, but they can both play hockey. They're both good with the puck. You look at their size and you think they skate at a snail's pace. But it's not the case, in particular Martinsen.

Galchenyuk is the final piece left to make this team complete and firing on all cylinders. Since the deadline, Gallagher, Byron, Danault, Lehkonen, and Shaw have all been playing great hockey and contributing offensively. Even Plekanec has been playing good hockey since being lined up with Gallagher and Byron. Pacioretty and Radulov found their scoring ways these last two games after a bunch of games held off the score sheet. If Galchenyuk joins all of them, we can say that going into the playoffs, the Habs have everyone going.

I like the fact that Claude is starting Price. He doesn't want this team to take off their foot off the pedal.

Also Tampa is competing for a playoff spot so its kind of fair for the other teams theyre competing against to start Price.

Ah nevermind theyre fighting against the bruins and the leafs, just start Lindgren

I actually wanted to start our AHL goalie so that the Dirty Bruins and the Leafs could hate us more

Martinsen can actually fly out there considering his size. I liked him a lot the last game! Let's hope he can be consistent and keep it up.

I wouldn't mind at all a DLR-BigMac-Martinsen 4th line for the next year! That's some massive dudes that can skate and play a strong defensive game!:yo:

I have liked Martinsen in every game I watched him with the Habs. I missed last game due to work but I've heard good things. I have been scratching my head wondering why he was being a healthy scratch so often. I want him in the line-up every night.

In my book, Martinsen and McCarron would be in every game. Whether they are with Ott, Mitchell or King, it doesn't matter to me. I would love to have those twin towers together.

And I agree about DLR added to that trio making it one big bodied line that can play the game the right way. I recall last season when all was lost for the Habs, McCarron and DLR were on the same line and watching them forecheck and finish their checks impressed me. It was good seeing two big bodies playing on the same line.

I don't know about DLR. MT loved him but he hasn't impressed me, he has to be a lot better.

Yes he does need to be better. The encouraging thing about DLR is that this last little while in the AHL, he's been arguably Ice Caps' best player. :)

I'm not crazy about King.

Would had prefer...

Martinsen-Ott-McCarron.

I'm not crazy about King either. I don't think he's been bad, just hasn't made an impact. You can see him doing a lot of good things during the game. They're just not things that really jump out at you while you watch.

Martinsen-Ott-McCarron would be my ideal 4th line. I like Mitchell, but I would rather have Ott in there with those two. MOM - Men on a Mission!

Finally getting a chance to see a King - McCarron - Martinsen line. Huge line! I've liked Martinsen in every game that he played. I can't see Habs signing King, but hopefully, they resign Martinsen. He won't cost much and we could use a banger like him.

I was torn between pissing off Leafs/Bruins fans by not starting Price and my wish for TB to miss the playoffs by starting Price and trying to win.

It looks like Julien is doing the "we should ice a competitive line-up since TB is fighting for their lives" play which is the honourable thing to do.

Habs better come out hard because you know TB will.

King is soooo slow compared to the rest of our forwards.

The guy is still really young! He's only 21 years old! He's big, strong can skate really well and is good defensively.

I can definitely see him on a 4th line in the NHL.
