Again though... aside a few below average outlet passes from the defense through the neutral zone, most of this is on the forwards, and their soft-absent zone coverage, lazy neutral zone play, and poor ability to get the puck across half with possession in transition. That's why the puck is getting back into the zone so often, and getting chances from cycling back to the top where forwards aren't shutting down lanes.

I know. I'm able to make the difference between the defensive system and the defense per se. Yet, that's Lafleur Guy system for Price so Defense takes the blame. Yet....that D is still an awful D.
