The coaches challenge is a failed experiment. The weakness are the idiots in stripes on the ice. They need to remove one of the idiots from the ice, and give him a proper broadcast to watch the game constantly, with the ability to talk real time to the idiot on the ice. You can't make critical calls on that little display for ****s sake.

Guys come on.. The puck was always loose. Touching Price made no difference. It was going to go in regardless.

yes but they disallowed a goal by Gallagher once that was similar. The puck was loose in front of gallagher and the goalie and while gallagher was trying to push it in the net he pushed the goalie before scoring and they said it was goalie interference.

The guy basically crosschecked price while trying to get the puck. I have no problem with it being a good goal but it should be good for Gallagher too.

Complete crap call. That was goaltending interference even the Isles play by play guys thought so. They were shocked when it stood up.

Nice come back by DD and Flash. They have some good chemistry.

That's not the point. The point is there was goalie interference prior to the puck going in. We had 2 goals called back this month because of that.

It's blatant double standards. If that is a no goal, this should have been called no goal too.

Totally agree. Losing your challenge doesn't make another goal against you good if it's not.

While I'd love a late season trade for a scoring winger or centre, i think forwards are one of our least worrisome aspects right now. D has been suspect lately with everyone struggling back there to an extent (Gilbert spread his disease or something!) but our scoring effort has been there. It won't always click for 3.5 goals a game obviously but still been an asset unlike last season.

I feel a trade for an impact guy and then supplement any injuries with our AHL depth. It's a good problem to have that so many guys on the IceCaps are ripping it up cause if we went into a scoring slump I feel one of Hudon, Andrighetto, McCarron or Holloway could give us a boost if needed (Thomas I've seen enough to know he's at best an energy guy). But we've been too healthy for that to be needed so far.

I absolutely agree that the refs need to be more consistent. They can't keep applying different rules to different players.
