We gotta give Semin some credit for his '' under the radar plays ''. I mean, ya he's way too slow for Chucky's line, but he does a lot of little thing that people won't really see. He clearly cannot shoot anymore, I guess his wrist surgery ****d up his shot for good. I think he can still be usefull on a 4th line, isn't like he's gonna hurt us, he's good defensivly. And here and then, he can make an amazing pass like he made tonight. Won't ever get 30p or more tho, kind of sad for a guy with so much skill.

Crazy how he had one of the most lethal wristers in the league and now... :shakehead

I think an appropriate use of Semin at this point would be as a PP specialist. He can still thread the needle with the passes and he doesn't need to move around like at ES.

Outside of PPs, give him 4th line minutes.

This is the game that Galchenyuk needs to score. Halak sucks

Last night he was our best foward. He had the 4th pass on the 2nd goal. And he's playing well again so far tonight, and already has 1point.

I just think that he finally start hitting the net and doesn't try to do too much alone. Look way more dangerous.

The MSG play by play guy was ripping the Isles D for backing up too deep but it's really on the forwards to me for giving up so many 3 on 2s. D has no choice but to back up, they can't challenge high or it becomes a mini 2 on 1 with an easy pass.

Another chapter in the "we should have kept Halak" nonsense. I'll update you guys on the status of my crazy uncle.

Like he has room to talk. Halak was a 9th round pick and became a starting goalie while Dipietro was first overall and ended up in the minors...

DiPietro was ruined by injuries. He was saying Halak was struggling with the puck and off his angles, which is true, but he also said Halak needed to be better.
