Julien got a ton of leash because of the 2011 and 2013 Cup runs. He wasn't very well suited to coach a team that drafted more on skill under Don Sweeney's reign as compared to on size under Peter Chiarelli's.

Why wouldn't he change lines under Sweeney though? Under Bergevin the issue is that Bergevin himself is getting a lot of heat for putting an inept roster, so it's normal that the coach is trying to cover his boss and make things work as quickly as possible.

I don't hate the Hip and if I'd probably enjoy a couple songs but I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to them.
