Can someone tell Alzner laying down everytime someone has the puck in our zone is not defense?

Well on paper it looks good it prevents high danger scoring chances from the slot. It doesn't prevent unscreened shots from the faceoffs circle though which are still pretty good scoring chances when the player has all the time in the world. Also it increase the likelihood that you'll score in your own net something Alzner did a couple of times already this season.

But on paper it looks good. Ask Hall Gill he knows.
