Different scenario though...Iginla basically got to pick his destination and the Flames accomodated him. I mocked the return on first blush but I sort of understand more now how tied Feaster's hands were.

Personally, I would have done two 2nds for Regehr, especially since we still have one in the bank. Whether or not Regehr would have waived to come here (or if the Sabres would even want to trade him here) is another subject, though...
I'd rather inquire about what the Canes want for McBain.

Read somewhere they were interested in moving him.

It's reassuring to see all these overpayments. Means there's still some awful GM's out there.

Bergervin will be looking for steals, no doubt.

Our 4th line is a great line, even if alot of people on this board don't admit it. I'm starting to hope that we resign Armstrong this offseason. He's been great and plays his role perfectly. He kills penalties, never takes any stupid penalties and can bring a little bit of offence.

I wouldn't mind going a bit younger with our 4th liner because all three of the guys who are playing tonight are very old, and I like the Kings model where the 4th line is both good at hockey and energetic, but we probably have one of the stronger 4th lines in the league despite what people here say.

And I agree, Armstrong is pretty underrated. He's playing some very smart hockey this year and is doing a lot of little things right. More than him I'd like Halpern back though, Halpern is still one of the best 4th line Cs in the league.

Blues loading up for a playoff run. Or, as Bouwmeester calls it, “that thing after the season with the games, I guess, I really don’t knowâ€.

Reto Berra a Swiss goalie, never played in N.America,. Mark Cundari, a small, undrafted, 22-YO D-man, 3 years in AHL
Berra is a decent goalie, but would never amount to more than a backup in the NHL I don't think.

The 1st round pick isn't even that good.

Seems like Feaster is trying to blow up the team before being fired lol

There is something smooth about Beaulieu.
This guy has talent.

Also I did not see so many flaws.
But I agree that he is being sheltered.

Still a very very interesting d-men.
