You don't pass the puck back angling toward the middle of the ice if you aren't 100% sure it will reach your teammate well before it reaches anyone else. It was 100% clueless and risky and bad for no reason at all. If you haven't immediately figured this out.. I feel bad for you.

Benn had the play in front of him. When he saw that Buffalo's player was going to intercept the pass then he should have backchecked and not try to beat the player for the puck at the blueline. Buffalo's player probably still beat him with his speed but what he tried was not a great play.

Benn had 0,1 second to speed away at rocket speed and make a genius move. Whereas Lehkonen had all the time in the world to make a better pass or just freakin' dump it .. we were on the PK. It was an awful play, you're wrong.
