If someone called him the new Hasek that couldn't have even been hyperbole around 2015. From March 2014 to November 2016 the guy won an Olympic Gold, World Cup, Hart, Vezina and Lindsay trophies. Price is as bad as he was the year Halak took over as a starter.

Yup. Was thinking the same thing. That year he couldn't win a game & it was just one bad bounce after another. It hit this. It hit that. He was blocked. Too much traffic.

There were a lot of excuses for him but the reality is he wasn't prepared mentally & didn't compete unlike Halak who was incredibly competitive and just wanted it.

Price looks like that Price again.
