Ducks have the best scoring chances in the game.

Shot count is dumb, lot of nothing shots on Gibson, like the DD shot.

i think if DD passed it was a goal as gibson didn't look Mitchell at all

and Rackell is a heck of a player

Honestly from what I saw it seemed like the passing lane was really covered by the D. I should see the replay in case I'm wrong though.

We were the better team in that period for sure.

Great period of hockey. The Detroit game was awesome too. I hope this is the start of a trend.

Ducks came on in the last 5 minutes and despite the goal Habs had a really good period.

Ya it's unfortunate we couldn't take advantage and pot a few while the Ducks were sleeping. They've likely woken up for the game now. See this so often in hockey it's ridiculous...and frustrating.

The ref knew Weber didnt like being dumped behind the net and was looking for payback.

He was going to find a call against him. He was looking for something to call

Cam Fowler saying Montreal shots on goal came mostly from the perimeter. Some things never change.

You know what....there is some truth to that. How many grade A chances from the shots...not that many though there's no question we dominated the zone time.

Absolutely. Doesn't matter that it wasn't overly egregious. He was waiting for a retaliation to call and he got it.

Garbutt had a hand full of Weber's jersey when he hauled him down too. I can't believe that wasn't called.
