Danault scores a nice goal and then makes a nice defensive play on the face off. Smart player.

Both Radulov points came on different lines(Not with Pleks)...hint hint time for a change Therrien

Where do you put him though? He has no chemistry with Pleks, that's clear, but it's not like anyone really wants to break up the top line. The only other option seems to be trying DD on that second line and pushing Pleks to the 3rd, but I doubt anyone really wants to see that. There's many other options really...

him, Mitchell and Byron make such a good line.

Best 4th line in the league for me, both Byron and Danault have the ability to play on a 3rd line. Add Mitchell to the line, guy's great on faceoffs, he's solid defensively and he gets 10 goals ~20 points a season.

Pleks has not developed chemistry with a lot of players over the years...don't get me wrong he is a good player but for whatever reason he is hard to mesh with.

Good Weise replacement.

I think he'll be a good Weise upgrade. I loved Weise, but I think Danault has so much more to offer. Don't forget, he's only 23 and tonight is playing his 58th NHL game in his career. He's already real good defensively, has offensive upside, and has hustle.
