Great GDT, I love the names, reminds me of the Romans in Astérix. Just one thing, game is on TVA Sports, not RDS.

Gotta play Price for both games, we need him in there for the whole series against the Sens.

I'm not surprised by Anderson in nets. He was practicing with the team so why not? I'm not sure why it was being reported he was out. I guess we were hoping he was out.

*Price picks up skull*

Alas, poor Michel! I knew him, Bukauskas,a fellow of infinite grind, of most excellent orange. He hath borne DD on his back a thousand times, and now, how abhorred in my imagination it is. My gorge rises at it.

How do people like Davidson so far? We haven't been able to see him play that much but he's definitely better in his own zone than Emelin currently. Do you think he should be playing a regular shift for us, or is he more suited as a 6/7?

I wouldn't be too opposed to giving Nesterov another shot with Benn either, I think they could compliment each other well on the bottom pair.

I wish Martinsen was in instead of King. King has brought nothing to the lineup.

Unlike MT, Julien seems to be in favour of the fresh legs strategy. With two games in two nights, let's hope he use some of our well rested players tomorrow. I'm not saying Emelin :naughty: .... but maybe Martinsen in for King, yeah.

My thanks noble countrymen
Sweet words and honey tongued praise
Give thee much merit in these pre-playoff days
So our Habs shall be put to the test
And let us brothers cry out
Ottawa delenda est!

(With back to back games this weekend, methinks i need not post the lines again in their present form, but likely something much simpler.

The GDTs for the morrow and next weekend are but in need of small tweaks to whit you shall also enjoy.):)

The way I see it, it's a back to back.

Speed and skill tonight.
Size and toughness tomorrow.

Beat them every single way possible, break their will to live.

Martinsen and McCaron benched again...

King and Mitchell out ffs

Well they have completely destroyed McCarron's progression. He sucks and will never be good anymore, they should just send him down.
I have no idea why King is not scratched yet. Martinsen has been better than him. Julien is making some odd choices.

So excited for this game.

Lots of players need to step up, who haven't lately: Plekanec, Radulov, King, and yes, even Weber. If the latter is our franchise D man, I wan't it to become very obvious, even if it means doing the small things -- like at the start of the year. King still has a lot to prove with this team, and against the Sens, this is his bread and butter -- he better have a great game.

I hope we win MOST OF ALL for the Habs fans going to the game. I've been to their barn, with their obnoxious fans. I was also at the last Bruins game when we got embarassed 0-4, perhaps in a strange attempt to lobby for their ex-coach, but still: I think the Ottawa experience was even worse. And it's not a compliment to their fans for being passionate. They're a bunch of insecure, boorish A holes. Let's hope we burst their balloon.

Cannot believe we won't dress Martinsen and McCarron!

We have the chance to make a statement that we are are a tough team to play against physically and we dress Mitchell and Moen V2.0 alias King instead. **** this decision.

The difference is marginal at best.

Martinsen is a big boy and can hit. He probably does it better than anybody on our team. He looks like a rocket compared to King. He can sometimes make decent offensive plays.
King on the other hand... Slow, soft as butter, terrible offensively, and doesn't do anything defensively. There isn't a single thing I like about King.

While I think Martinsen deserves this game more, my thinking is that Julien is sending the same sort of message to King as he did to Emelin. At least I really hope he is. It would be nice to see King play a game where he doesn't seem almost depressed to be out on the ice.

It's gonna get rowdy, and he's one of the big boys dressed, if not the main one.
