To be fair, no one had Forsberg pegged as a top 3 pick and Galchenyuk is clearly second behind Forsberg.

Chucky has 200 career points, Forsberg 184. Chucky's PROD this season is 19:48, Forsberg is 24:30.

I guess that means Chucky is the worst 3rd pick ever and Forsberg is a superstar.

Chucky's ice time is amongst the lowest among the top 50 NHL scorers the past two seasons. His PROD is better than Forsberg the past two seasons. But Forsberg is clearly better, right.

Nope. I wanted Forsberg actually, which would have been better since he has more than half a brain and he can skate.

Habs barely managed to make Galchenyuk what he is and he was at 40-45 point pace right out of the draft at 18. I highly doubt Forsberg's career would be as good with Montreal's development.

King needs to sit big time, skated to one feet of Ottawa player and turns around.. soft as hell!
Cloude is delusional

King has another year after this, he is a verteran with cup experience, and any good coach would have given him this much leeway and until at least this game to prove himself. This is a playoffs type game. And if King is going to be able to elevate his play, he'll do it in this game.

Best game is not in Ottawa, nor in Taranna. Nope. Best game of the night is in Maniwaki, where my son is playing in a beer league tourney, and where his goalie seems totally wasted in a video he sent me via Facebook. Excitement!

He reminds me of a 500 pound man trying to sprint.

Oh yeah Forsberg who was traded for bag of pennies by Washington. Imagine if he started here, he would have been destroyed by the Montreal media, MT and the impatient fan base.

You sound like one of those guys who looks at a draft from 5 years ago and cherry picks every all-star and all-NHL player from the draft and says "Oh the Habs should have drafted that guy" even though 25 other teams also passed on that player.

Amen to that. People act like these hot young players would've developed the same way if the Habs took them. This has always been one of the toughest environments for a kid to develop. Our head coaches are usually too stubborn and scared for their job security to bring these guys along in any way that doesn't ruin confidence. And Therrien was the worst of them all. He would've given the same gruff, short-leash treatment to Forsberg he's done to every young player he's ever coached who didn't come to him already with ready-made, all-world skill and/or abilities to play defence and grind like hell.

That's prolly the only two stats that advantage Chucky in the multitude of stats that exist in the world. Good job in listing them.

If you would rather have chucky over Forsberg then I don't know what to tell you.
