Next year, we'll have the best defensive unit, since Bergevin's 2017-18 statement on the best defensive unit with Schlemdog, Davidson, Reilly, Morrow, Mete & Alzner to name a few.

My interest level is at an all-time low and it's only November. What happened to all the effort this team showed us last year? I realize that our talent level is low but no talent and low effort performances are too much to tolerate.
They should have hung that banner for most 1 goal games lost while they had a chance...

The product f***ing sucks. And not only that, but with the state of the world right now, getting hyped up or upset about guys skating on a sheet of ice while pushing a rubber puck with their stick seems kind of silly. Panem and circenses.

Totally getting stomped. Devils are better than the Caps, Pens, Flames and Krakens...

Ehhh I really don't think we're better than the Caps so far. We played them twice and sure came out of it with 3 of 4 pts but the Caps looked like the better team.

I expect the Devils to spank us tonight. Jack Hugues will have a field day with our défense

He really hasn't been all that good

Why thank you Matthew :) We're going well thanks - youngest daughter has made me commit to taking her to Montreal next October, for sight seeing and hockey :D She comes with me most Sundays to our local UK NIHL team, so the logical next step is a Rocket game or two next year and another Saturday Habs game in a bar.....unless 21 is the minimum bar age in Quebec!

Two resold Habs tickets might be a stretch too far for the budget!
Bars here are 18 - and there's the PWHL too!

We will win either this game or the one against toronto in a underserving fashion. Trap game for NJ.
I hope so trap games may be the only ones we will be winning in the near future.
This roster will be hard pressed to beat any team who show up with a work ethic.
We can count on three or four fingers the number of truly well played games we had against a bright eyed opposition last season.
Too many times I read comments about how well we played after a win when in reality we just took what was given to us.
It's going to be very sad season if we are already looking at nothing to play for by game 25.

Wise words....this season can get away from us in a hurry. The fans in reality may be passionate but the pressure on MSL is self inflicted as his team is struggling, vets and young players are regressing. I just want to be entertained during a rebuild, not so turned off that I refuse to watch.

It depends what you mean by "bar". There are loads of restaurants that play the games on screens all around the restaurant but they might restrict the bar area to kids.

If you mean a place where they snort powder on the pool table, then you should wait that your daughter turns 40 and have confirmation that her life already went south before bringing her there.

Please no, not the trap game. Everything but that

Thanks mate - I think the PWHL wouldn't match a Laval game for atmosphere though. I refuse to speculate on the relative hockey merits. :sarcasm:

Thanks - she'll be 17 looking 19/20 by this time next year. She plays goal defence in netball and is taller than me (not hard). You'll need to signpost me to those "alternative" bars you know, next time I'm over on my own ;-)

I did not get the hockey package this year again. 3 years in a row. why? waste of coin
I support the rebuild but the effort now kills me

They have to shape up real quick......effort levels are very low....why is what we all want to know.
Are they telling Marty the system we play doesn't work?
Something is off, and they better dig down and find their groove, and start showing a better effort.

Injuries suck but come on guys................no more 7-2 or 8-2 showings. Other than Caufield, there have been no real positives. Maybe Nick, and his ppg.
