A couple of average - poor games by a goalie can really hurt his stats. Look at Rinne's last two.

In the 2 games where the team allowed 10 or 11 against, Price got very little support.

The 7 goal game, yes he got little support. He wasn't good, but the team sucked defensively.

The other game, when he let in 5 (either before or after), he was terrible though.

DD sucked for 2 periods. Bad. But him and his line have been strong in the 3rd.

Alrighty then, credit to him. I don't really think it's fair to criticize him only beacause of his extension. The Habs had a mediocre road game, but win anyway.
